I really needed a break after the crazy stressful day yesterday. After waking up at 1am early this morning I couldn't stop thinking about the incident in the grocery store and ended up getting up and going to the computer. I didn't get back to sleep until 5:30 even though I went back to bed around 4am.
Casey got the girls up early for breakfast and then they watched TV until CC#3 and I got up. CC#1 did some work today reading books and doing work pages. CC#2 worked on handwriting and her letters. The kids all did some painting. CC#1 wrote a cute story about one of my kids following the other one around everywhere.
CC#1 also made a menu and played server this afternoon. She has been doing a lot of restaurant role playing lately.
I also took the kids to gym and we ran some errends. Tonight CC#1 is with me watching the poll results and talking more about voting and elections. Coincidentally I took a test given to college seniors to test their knowledge in our country's history and I got a 70% on it, which was average. I felt awful about that, of course and now I'm pulling out my college history books. Some of the answers I missed I was on the fence about but wasn't completely sure. I was able to rule out most things on questions I wasn't sure about. Too bad. At least I didn't do WORSE than today's college seniors. Then I'd really be embarrassed.

I'm too lazy to link it for you right now. (sorry) Let me know if you beat my score.
